Verizonwireless Motorola Droid

VERIZONWIRELESS VTEXT offered on Motorola Droid Verizonwireless has got a good hold on mobile phone and cellular phone service throughout the country. Although there are still pockets of the country where verizonwireless is unable to offer service because of a lack of competition, there are very few people who don’t have the option of going with best cell provider in the country. I know that there are people who have had a bad experience with a person in verizonwireless customer service department, most people have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with the coverage and the customer service offered by verizonwireless. The two year cycle we are currently in has offered two of the biggest product advancements in the history of verizonwireless. Last year verizonwireless offered the release of two of the greatest smartphones on the market. First came the droid or android by motorola and later came the droid x also by motorola. This verizonwireless partnership also involved google mobile OS. It was a huge move on the part of google to try and take a bite out of microsoft and blackberry business. It left alot of customers unhappy with the solutions, if they weren’t willing to convert to google products. Many people were impatient to wait for google to fix problems with the address book only displaying by first name sort and other similar problems that took several months to fix after the first release. In early 2011 verizonwireless announced their first partnership with Apple and the release of the i-phone iphone 4. Many of their customers who are devoted to apple computing have struggled with poor service in places like New York city have had to use an alternate service provider for their iphone and carry a verizon phone for making phone calls or tolerate the frequent lost calls from the other providers on their iphone. These devoted mac heads are ecstatic about the coming opportunity that verizonwireless is offering them to solve their many frustrations of multiple technology devises when they should only need a single device. I am sure that the long term plan for verizonwireless development involves many new products and services. It is very likely that current verizonwireless customers can not even imagine what the future mobile devices and smartphones will look like when verizonwireless unveils their new products in 2015.

Linux vs Windows

Battle of Linux vs Windows

Linux vs Windows Personal Experience

I have a couple of friends, both techies, who use it and encouraged me to give the test of Linux vs Windows a try. I finally did after ANOTHER frustrating experience with Windows, and one of them helped me install Linux. It is an operating system, just like Windows and Mac, but it’s what they call an open source system. Open Source means that anyone can write programs for it, but as soon as you offer it, other techies around the world are going to scrutinize it for suspicious content – hence there are no viruses with Linux. There are thousands of apps that you can install, and it runs OpenOffice. Caveat: I tried to install something a couple of weeks ago, and now I can’t get it to boot up, so I’m back to Windows for the time being. Don’t try the Linux vs Windows test unless you have a good, available techie to help you out in a bind. Sounds negative, but you have the same problem with Windows for sure, and maybe Mac as well. One feature that I really like is that when you turn it on, you’re ready to go in less than 30 seconds, and it turns off in 5 seconds, instead of the 90 that Windows takes.  Linux takes a little getting used to, layout and such, but overall I like Linux. Maybe Linux For Dummies would be helpful. P.S. Linux is free which makes taking the Linux vs Windows test very appealing.
