He is wearing chains and other mix of different fashion pieces. All of this in a way designed to be gender neutral. This is not about the life choices of the person, but rather to diminish the importance of being male or female and to belittle the idea that one gender is more important stronger bigger faster or smarter than the other gender. It opens up the barriers and allows us all to be friends on equal ground based on our love of music dancing and eclectic fashion.

There are some common factors that classify people who are called emo, but in a way it is the ability to take anything and make it part of your fashion statement in stead of being required to shop at some high end store or even to Thrift store shop to make some statement like a hipster. Most of the coloring pages will probably be done in either red or black which are the colors that neutralize the fashion of most of the rest of high schoolers or college students. Very few emo persons make it out of college without moving onto some other fashion style at least as a minimalist.
